Turmeric Paste

Ingredients:

1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1/2 cup filtered water
1/4 cup turmeric powder

Golden Milk

Ingredients:

1 tsp. virgin coconut oil
1/4 tsp. (or more) turmeric paste
1 cup coconut milk (hemp is also an option)
raw, unpasteurized honey to taste

Instructions:

  1. Mix the pepper, turmeric, and water in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir the mixture until you get a thick paste. This is the turmeric paste. Let the cream cool down before storing it in a refrigerator.
  2. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients, except the honey. Cook it on medium heat. Mix continuously until hot, but don’t boil.
  3. When the mixture cools off, add honey for added flavor.
  4. Drink the mixture first thing in the morning or before bedtime.
