Fight Insomnia With Juices And Smoothies

Insomnia is a sleep disorder that results from constant stress and worries, a busy lifestyle and having too many activities. Nowadays, there are lots of people suffering from this problem.

If you are one of those suffering from insomnia then you need the importance of dealing with this problem as soon as possible to avoid it from affecting your health. There are recipes for juice and smoothies that can help your body relax so you can have a better sleep.

Lettuce And Banana Smoothie

This healthy beverage can help control anxiety and stress, thereby promoting relaxation of the entire body to prevent insomnia.

Ingredients:

1 small banana
90 grams of romaine lettuce
4 chamomile flowers
Juice from 1/2 lemon

Preparation:

Make a tea using the chamomile flowers and set aside the liquid. Wash and chop the lettuce leaves and then add the tea and all remaining ingredients to the blender. Process it for a few minutes and drink it chilled, half an hour before going to bed.

Lettuce And Cucumber Juice

Lettuce and cucumber are two ingredients that are known to be excellent for fighting insomnia. Cucumber has tryptophan, an amino acid, which stimulates the production of serotonin – a hormone associated with good sleep and better mood. Lettuce, meanwhile, has important nutrients that help eliminate feelings of anxiety and promote healthy sleep.

Ingredients:

1 cucumber
1/2 head of lettuce

Preparation:

Slice the cucumber and separate the leaves of lettuce. Add them all to a blender, process for a few minutes, and drink this juice well chilled.
